Technology

Technology is something that most people cannot live without it, in today’s world. I still remember back then, when I was still a kid, which is when technology is still just a desire rather than a must, people are friendlier to each other.

 People will not just stay in the house, they will go out spend time with their friends. At that time, family members were closer to each other. We always talk together and spend our quality time with our family. No matter anything that happen to us, whether it is good or bad, we will let our mom or dad or our closest family member know about it. We will share our pain and so do our joy with our family. Frankly speaking I was in my happiest state at those times, the times where technology is still does not matter that much.

Now, almost everything changes. Nowadays, without technology we cannot live and fit in with the rest of the society, that’s how technology matters to us at this moment. People used to say hi, face to face, and play or hang out with their friends doing outdoor activities but all that was only in the past. In this modern world, people prefer staying inside the house, chatting with their friends or updating their status through social networks. They won't share their feeling with their family anymore, they just simply 'update' their status.

There are too many social networks that make people        become ignorance of people around them. This is absolutely the truth. Before technology become too important, when I’m home, all of my family members will sit together, just talking and spend our quality times together, and we do that very frequently but now, when I’m home, my brother is busy playing online games, my sister busy 'texting' and listening to music through her phone and me, myself busy watching YouTube videos and ‘facebooking’ and because of all that, all of us no longer spend time together like we used to.

I’m not saying that technology is all bad but technology does have badness in our life rather than just goodness. Steve Jobs will not improve the technology if he knows that technology only bring all the bad stuff into reality. Right? What I tried to say is, technology is important but it is not everything. Make sure it will stay that way.

LOVE

I read an article where he wrote about love. In that article, it was wrote that love is hard to define but to know love, one’s just simply describing it’s symptoms to know love. Love is a word that easily said but hardly done. People can say “I love you” all the times but are those word is spoken from the heart? Nobody will know.

Nowadays people love to be ‘in love’ especially for the teenagers. For them, at their age, they want to love and be loved by their ‘other half’. I’m not denying the fact that, it is true that we need someone in our live but today’s teenagers do it in the wrong way. To love someone, there is a way to do it. You don’t just do it according to your satisfaction. If you love someone, you help them become better, you guide them on the right path of life and you don’t do anything that against your own religion, then, that is the right way to love but if you love somebody and you lead them in doing the wrong things, things that against your religion, things that only to satisfy your desire, then, that is absolutely not love. That is what we called lust instead of love.

Love is something big and love is not only for couples but also for family and friends. We also can share love with animals, plants and any living or non-living thing around us. That is why the writer of the article that I read, it is said that we can’t describe love. It is too big to describe with words. I watch this one particular movie when was a kid, in that movie, there is one thing that been said by the main character that I can’t forget until now. She said that, ‘everybody is born to care, that is something we were meant to share, not to keep it just to ourselves and if we make room for someone new, doesn’t mean that there were less for you, it’s only mean that our circle of love have grown’. This word I will remember as it’s teach me to always love and by doing that, we will have more friends and be happier in our life. 

Thinking Folly

I really like to think, so, I must be a thinker and be a thinker is a good thing but that is what I thought. After I read the article thinking folly, I was quite shock to know that actually being a thinker is not a good thing. Being a thinker make you less creative and hard to come up with interesting new ideas. In short, if you a person that think a lot and think all the time, your mind will become weaker and weaker each day. In that article, it wrote that, we are not the one that controls our mind but actually our mind controlled us. People who can stop thinking are actually better than someone who cannot stop thinking. Once we can control our mind, our live will get better and we can come up with greater ideas.

As normal human being, we started thinking as we woke up early in the morning and we kept thinking until we go back to sleep. Even second before we actually sleep, we are still thinking. Thinking had become a disease with no cure and not many people knew about the phenomenon.

So, stop thinking! But I wonder how we can stop thinking. I really wish I knew because starting from the point I open my eyes, I start to think. First question that came to my kind is, “where is my phone?” or “what time is it now?” or who turn the light on??”. I officially start my day with thinking. So, I really hope to know the way of stop thinking because for once, I want to become the master of my mind and not the other way around. Now, I really miss being a kid, where you do things more than you think.

FRIEND

Friend. Everybody knows what a friend is. Friends are pretty much all the good things is all about. Everybody have friends. It is not a must but that just how life works. How good you are or how bad you are, how rich you are or how poor you are, you just have friends. Friends is someone who always support you when you about to fall, help you when you needed, be there for you when you feeling down, lean you a shoulder to cry on when you are sad and more. But that are the good part of friends, there also bad friends. Friends that lead you in doing bad things, friends that make you feel worst about yourself and there also friends that stop you from doing good things. There is also the third kind of friend, this kind of friends is far worst and dangerous that bad friends. This type of friends known as the fickle friends or in other words, “frenemies”. 

This type of friends is a friend of yours but also an enemies at the same times.

Most of the times, frenemies are the reason why people become stressed in life. Frenemies is someone that make you happy and at the same time make you feeling depressed and hurts.

 Like everyone else, I also have this kind of friends. The one that smiles in front of your face but back stabbing you when you didn’t notice. She was once my best friend, at least that what I thought she was. She was the first best friend that I had. At that time, I’m around standard 5. I told her everything that I felt and all of my deepest secret at that times. We’ve been friends for years but suddenly, one day, she told everyone about my secrets, just like that. That was one of the worst day of my life and because of that, until now, I find it very hard to trust anyone again.

Genius Kid

The adventure of Tintin. This is a title of a very interesting movie to watch. I watch it with all of my classmate and this movie gave us a good laugh for the day. That was the first time for me to watch that movie but for a few of my classmates, they watch the movie for the second times but they still watch it because they said that, the movie is really interest no matter how many times you watch it. So, because of what they said, I become more excited to watch it.

When I watch it, at first, what came to my mind is, this movie almost the same as ‘Detective Conan’. It is about a genius kid that really good in investigating about something that rather dangerous and quite mysterious. In ‘The Adventure of Tintin’, it teach us to think a lot to solve problems and don’t just straight away jump to conclusion without convincing evidence. In this movie, Tintin with his dog have solved plenty of mysterious cases all by themselves but then, one day, the day that Tintin want to buy a replica of an amazing ship, something happen to him and the ship. There’s a man that willing to gave him a big of amount of money for the ship but Tintin refuse to sell it to him but later that day, the ship that Tintin’s bought was gone. Start from that point, the adventure of Tintin has begun.

In this movie, Tintin used an inductive reasoning as he collected all the possible evidences that he manage to get before he make a conclusion about who is the real bad guy. Rather than deductive reasoning, Inductive reasoning is the best way to investigate a thing as we will get the most concrete evidence.

Rowan Atkinson

Rowan Atkinson. Sounds familiar? At first, I actually don’t know who he is. A friend of mine tells me that, that man is famous and everyone knew him. I became more and more confuse because of that. Then she tells me this, “you know him too. He is the well known Mr. Bean!”. Right at that moment, I knew who he is and the fact that I loved him so much! I never miss to watch “Mr. Bean”. It’s so funny to not watch it. Mr. Bean was my favourite show to watch when I was a kid until now. Same goes to most of my friends.

Early this year, I watch him again after a while, on a different show. His own ‘gag show’, which is very enjoyable to watch with all of my friends. I laugh non-stop because of his jokes.

This is the man behind my laughter that day. He looks as he is not funny at all but he is really funny. He can make people laugh without even speak. That is how good he is in doing comedy. After watched the show, my lecturer ask all of us to come up with few jokes for our next class. I thought to myself that, making people laugh is not that hard. If ‘Mr. Bean’ can easily make people laugh, why can’t I do the same right? But there is where I was wrong. It is really hard to make people laugh at your jokes. My first attempt in making my classmate laugh was a complete failure. Nobody laugh and suddenly the surrounding become too awkward. After a few second, everybody burst laughing not because of my jokes but because of how awkward the situation was at that moment. It was a disaster to me on that day. Now I know, making people laugh is not as easy as it seems.

Money can't buy

Happiness is basically is a feeling that can be found in people life. Happiness is something that been seek and search by every living things on earth but all these was in the past. I wonder why, nowadays, money has become way more important than happiness. I was once live in the world where friends and family, the creator or happiness, are very important to everyone but now, people can no longer use, ‘money can’t buy happiness’ anymore. Why this is happening to us in today’s world. I know everything had already been modernize from the way we dress to the way we live but this is not supposed to happen. Being happy supposed to be more important than being rich.

Sometimes, people ask me, to you, are money is more important than happiness? For me, money is important, very important actually but no amount of money can buy happiness. I am a person who love to think before go to sleep and I thought about this thing called happiness most of times. I imagined my life without my family and friends, the most important people in my life. My life, with no doubt will be meaningless and full of sorrow. Even if I got millions of dollar with me but it cannot replace the happiness I receive in my life.

This is my family and friends. They are the people that I love, care for me and forever will give me all the happiness I need as I will do the same for them. So, it’s doesn’t matter how many upcoming years ahead of me, money can never be more important than happiness to me. Happiness always come first J
